Adventures as an only child.

As the arrival of Baby Dos approaches, I've tried to create some quality time with my Big Bro Asher - and capture them on camera. His whole world  (and ours) is about to change and I want to look back and remember these days very clearly. That's all I'm going to say about that though because I'm not trying to get all emotional with myself on a Saturday night.

Today we had Family Fun Day with Ash, starting with brunch at the Farmer's Market Restaurant followed by lots of play time at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences. The boys loved it! I followed along at my waddle pace and enjoyed watching Asher absorb it all.

Here are some of my favorite shots with my favorite boy. And by some, I mean a ton. And by a ton, I mean really a ton. Prepare for photo overload.

Whale watching with Dad.

(Yes, I do let him touch things.)

Whoa. Dinosaur!

Self portrait.

I asked him to sit on the rock so I could take his picture.

(Denise, don't look!)
He could have stood at this bug cage all day.

Me. As a bee.

Butterfly room. Highlight of the day.

Definitely, time to go home.

The Baby Dos Experience: I am tired.

Well, I'll be 38 weeks pregnant on Friday. I keep writing blog posts in my head. They just never get beyond there.

I've been very busy with work (big launches!) and trying to get things together around here to, you know, have a baby.

And I'm so tired. Just starting to swell some. Hopefully that will remain somewhat under control this go round.

Sorry the blog has been so quiet. It's one thing I haven't allowed myself to fret over. :)
